The women we work with are fleeing family violence and facing extreme economic pressures.  
 
The current housing crisis in Victoria is driving women and their kids into homelessness and poverty. 
 
Aboriginal women are often forced to choose between living with violence or on the streets with their children. 
 
With your donation, you can enable us to support women and children by providing emergency relief to ensure mums have: 

- Food for their kids 

- Toiletries 

- Clothing 

- A mobile phone 

- Transport

- Legal assistance  

- Wraparound cultural support

- Safe accommodation

Travel is often difficult for clients; Djirra can assist by providing uber or petrol vouchers to ensure women can get to appointments and attend court when needed.  
 
In situations where security is a major concern, Djirra can provide new locks and security systems to ensure the safety of women and their children. 
 
These are just a few examples of the many holistic, practical supports we offer to women in crisis.
