Pirate's Story

When our friends at SAI Vet Hospital approached us about one of their cats, we knew we had to help.  Pirate was surrendered to them after being involved in a road traffic accident.  His only chance of survival was surgery.  This would not only save his life, but also his vision - but only one eye could be saved.

Cat's are very resilient animals, and this big tabby boy made it quite clear he still had many more lives left to live!

It was decided that APS would take on this brave boy, and his surgery went ahead successfully  Pirate has made great progress in his recovery, and will soon be able to find his furrever home.

Expert vet treatment comes at a price, and as a non-for-profit organisation this adds continual financial strain, and our need to reach out for help.

We are asking you, our dedicated supporters, if you would be willing to donate a small amount, to help us cover our $2,000 fees required to save Pirate's life.  Every life is precious, and if we are able to raise these funds, it means we can continue to help special cats and dogs who need our help.
