The Ashbury Public School annual walkathon is on again!

Our biggest fundraiser for the year has been reschedued to Wednesday 23rd July 2025, with students from Kindy to Year 6 walking thousands of steps around the streets of Ashbury to raise money for the school. Extended family, friends and neighbours can sponsor kids to take part.

This year, we're aiming to raise money to purchase additional chromebooks.

As NAPLAN testing moves increasingly into the digital space, it's essential that our students are well-prepared to navigate online assessments with confidence. Chromebooks play a critical role in this preparation by helping students build foundational skills in typing, digital navigation, and independent learning. Regular access to these devices allows students to practice using test-like platforms, develop fluency with digital tools such as on-screen calculators and text highlighters, and improve their keyboarding proficiency. By equipping our classrooms with more Chromebooks, we can ensure every student has the opportunity to develop the technology skills they need to succeed—not just in NAPLAN, but in their broader educational journey.
